A real and candid moment reveals more about the children than one which require them to remain still and smile at the camera. We all know a posed photo with smiling faces may not be all that meets the eye. We can be very unhappy or angry when the photo is taken but still look happy for the camera. Hence I value real moments very much, even during family portrait sessions. Our children can smile for you to make you happy, but with the deft touch of a photojournalist, we hope to laugh WITH them whole-heartedly.
