Odilia and Twee Wee went out to sea with their parents, their own two kids and the rest of the families to celebrate their tenth wedding anniversary. What was amazing about this simple celebration was the fact that Odilia engaged the same makeup artist, wore the same hairstyle, the same dress, and had the same priest (who is a friend) and the same photographer!
I had shot their wedding ten years ago and it was an honour to be asked to recapture their significant moments as they renewed their vows. It was a glorious afternoon that started and ended at Keppel Marina, with a stopover on Lazarus Island.
I think the kids enjoyed the ride most after the thrills and highs of braving the rough seas and disembarking at a dark and quiet island where they had her and her cats for themselves for a short time.
It was very heartwarming to witness this celebration because I got married around the same time, have two children of my own, and now it seems as though I am relishing my own good fortune through their family bliss.
To many more ten years!
